During the academic year, Central volunteers spend at least one hour a week working with children on basic reading, writing, and math skills at Cook Elementary School, in southeast Atlanta. The one-on-one attention can make an extraordinary difference in a child's motivation to learn. Internships for high school and college students are also available.
