The primary purpose of the Ministry of Worshipl is threefold: One, the council assists with the religious elements of Sunday worship service, including providing ushers, flowers, and communion elements. Two, the ministry assists in the overall coordination of the church's music and liturgical arts program. This includes acting as a liaison between members of the music staff and the Session and working with the choir directors and the organist to fulfill any particular needs. Three, the ministry provides assistance to and guidance for other services at Central, such as weddings and funerals.

Some Volunteer Opportunities

• Participate in a singing, ringing, or drumming choir.
• Offer to play a musical instrument when requested.
• Assist the directors of the children's choirs.
• Usher at Sunday service once a month.
• Help with preparations for communion.
• Serve on the Memorial Guild, preparing for and assisting in funerals held at the church.
• Help in planning and preparation for Children in Worship.
• Help operate the sound system.
